Anza-Borrego is 600,000 acres of desert badlands, palm oases, canyons, bighorn sheep, and dramatic sunrises and sunsets. A mountain range provides a moisture barrier from the Pacific Ocean, making this park extremely dry, but rich with tiny, flowering plants on the desert floor.
